Memorial Day weekend, Father’s Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day–with the warm weather beckoning at our heels we’re thrilled to get outside and start the grill. At The Catered Affair, we love to incorporate the fresh produce and herbs of summer with locally sourced meat to create stand out summer BBQ’s. Whether you’re hosting a tented celebration for the holidays in your backyard, bringing the party down to the beach, or dining at one of our New England venues, we’re excited to work with you to create the perfect menu.

Think Light
Don’t want the formalities of a seated dinner? No problem! We love pairing interactive stations with delicious buffet options ensuring your guests will be entertained and satisfied. Try our Grilled Flatbread Pizza Station where guests can choose their own toppings and watch as chef’s grill to perfection or our stunning Raw Bar bursting with oysters, shrimp, and littleneck clams.

Think Meat
For a carnivorous-centric celebration we love going classic with summertime favorites like our burger bar! With options for full burgers, shoestring fries, and onion rings, or smaller sliders like beef, turkey, pulled pork with all the fixings. Want to break away from the traditional? Try the Brazilian Barbecue station with a variety of beef, pork, and chicken marinated skewers, yucca, and fresh citrus farofa.

Think Refreshments

Lemonade, Iced Tea, and Margaritas are go-to’s for warm weather but we love elevating the standards. Try a custom craft beer station next to a fresh squeezed lemonade stand to encourage your guests to make lemonade shandy’s or a mojito bar with muddled blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries and plenty of fresh mint.

Supply the Veggies

Picture plentiful passed hors d’oeuvre just bursting with fresh summer produce and color! Ease your guests into the evening with watermelon cups with mint and feta, grilled zucchini ribbons with mint and chevre, or caprese salad bites with black olive tapenade. Then, for the main attractions, bring in a salad shaker bar where you can mix fresh greens like baby kale, spinach, and arugula with fresh summer fruits.

Don’t Forget the Sweets!

What better way to cool down then with a classic ice cream cart. Vanilla, Chocolate, and Strawberry paired with fresh fruit, salted caramel drizzle, and nuts makes the perfect end of the night treat. Or, go for a more elegant dessert station with a shortcake bar or a lemon inspired station packed with lemon meringue jar pies, fresh berry tartlets, and lemon bars.
