What’s New at The Catered Affair?

At The Catered Affair, we’re looking forward to an exciting 2016! With new venues on the horizon, colors and trends inspiring our newly engaged clients (we see you Pantone Color of the Year Serenity) and plenty of fun culinary delicacies to try on our menus, we’re sure this year is going to be a success.

The Catered Affair at the Boston Public Library recently won the bid for The Newsfeed Cafe opening Summer 2016 in the newly renovated Johnson Building at the Boston Public Library. The Newsfeed Cafe will operate during the day as a multi-service cafe and has a state-of-the-art WGBH satellite broadcast studio inside. At night, the cafe, as well as several new spaces in the Johnson Building, will be available for events. From weddings to corporate events and even galas, the newly renovated Johnson Building will expand the Boston Public Library into one of the most versatile venues in Boston!

The Harvard Art Museums had a busy 2015, and we’re looking forward to even more Cambridge MA weddings, corporate events, and awards dinners in 2016. We’re especially excited to host cocktail receptions and wedding ceremonies at Adolphus Busch Hall and the Calderwood Courtyard! These breathtaking spaces are flush with romantic and modern art that enhance every event.

Most importantly, in 2016, we’re excited to continue to grow our menu and create distinct and personal menus for each of our clients. From high quality, locally sourced ingredients, to creative presentations and displays, 2016 is sure to be a year full of stunning intimate dinners, jaw-dropping buffets, and one-of-a kind stations.
