Classic Wedding at the Harvard Art Museums

From portraits in Adolphus Busch Hall to dancing in the Calderwood Courtyard, we’re swooning over this classic wedding at the Harvard Art Museums.

The bride and groom chose to have their ceremony offsite at a nearby cathedral in Cambridge close to Harvard Square. After exchanging vows under paper crafted doves, they took their portraits and formals in the stunning Adolphus Busch Hall and Naumburg Room. From sweet looks in the courtyard to bright smiles among the grand hall, their photos truly capture how special this day was for them. As they continued to take photos in the Calderwood Courtyard where their reception would be held, guests were able to take self-guided tours throughout the museum’s galleries. As an all ages wedding, children and adults alike meandered and explored exhibits and the museum’s various collections before they joined in the courtyard for the main dinner reception.

In the Calderwood Courtyard, soft amber and hues of gold dressed the room and tablescapes were adorn with dust pink roses and sprigs of rosemary on each plate. After dinner, guests danced the night away under the majesty of the glass rooftop and enjoyed a magical evening. Congratulations to the bride and groom! Explore more of the wedding below.
