In addition to full-service catering and event planning, The Catered Affair operates a collection of restaurants and cafés within renowned cultural institutions across Boston and Cambridge. These include the Newsfeed Café, Courtyard Tea Room, and Map Room Lounge at the Boston Public Library; a vibrant Wine + Coffee Bar at the Institute of Contemporary Art; and Jenny’s Café at Harvard Art Museums.

Most recently, The Catered Affair opened Folio, a European-inspired restaurant in the historic Boston Athenaeum. Each destination offers guests an opportunity to enjoy exceptional food and drink in some of the city’s most iconic cultural settings.

Folio

Folio, the newest addition to The Catered Affair’s distinguished hospitality portfolio, is located within the historic Boston Athenaeum. Prepared by Head Chef Charlotte Tracey, it offers made-to-order shareable plates, a curated selection of old and new world wines, and craft cocktails in a European-inspired setting. Open to the public and library members, reservations are available via Resy, though walk-ins are always welcome.

A Contemporary Respite, Steeped in History. Folio recently launched Afternoon Tea, available Tuesdays through Thursdays, 2:00–4:00 pm.
