Birthday Celebration at the Harvard Art Museums

Hosting a birthday milestone in the breathtaking Calderwood Courtyard at the Harvard Art Museums is a one of a kind experience. One of our clients recently hosted the party of a lifetime at the museum and we can’t get enough of it! With the theme 100 Years, a playful ruse that combined her and her beau’s ages, our team had a lot of room for creativity in menu and décor for this birthday celebration. The entire night was playful and energetic and the Harvard Art Museums served as the perfect backdrop.

The evening began with a light welcome reception in the museum’s lower lobby adorned in gold couches and a votive candle lit bar. Then, guests were taken into the main courtyard where drapery hung before the big unveil of the space. As the drapes were removed, guests were welcomed into the middle of the courtyard where they had three story views of the museum’s various collections, stunning cocktail tables dripping with gold and bronze accents, and a variety of topiary backdrops, lounge areas, and tablescapes. Fun hors D’oeuvres like mini tacos and tequila shots were passed around and then guests were free to roam to the bar, an endless sushi station, and several other stationary hors D’oeurves. As the evening wound down, dancing began and the giant 100 years cake was brought out.
