The Catered Affair was recently featured in Bliss Celebrations’ Annual 2016 Issue for a staged event, “After the Hunt” at the Harvard Art Museums. The vision for the photoshoot was, as Bliss Celebrations Guide explains it, “The early twentieth century art collection and architecture at the Harvard Art Museums inspired floral designer Marc Hall Design and Nilda Martin of Reserve Modern Event Rental to create a sumptuous after the chase themed rehearsal dinner. ‘The evening blurred the distinction between new and old world’ Hall explained. ‘ Modern furniture and couture design elements paired with Renaissance inspired food and flora.'”

With this vision in mind, The Catered Affair provided a variety of dishes from a decadent rack of lamb and beautifully layered potato pave to rustically roasted fall vegetables. The table was strewn with luscious desserts like a caramel drizzled hazelnut buttercream tiered cake and a raspberry speckled dark chocolate cake. On the side, we adorned a table with a dazzling array of cheese and charcuterie, passed hors doeurves, and mini late night bites like bahn mi and mini korean beef tacos with kimchi and lime. All of these dishes came together with the modern and chic look of Reserve Modern Event Rentals serviceware and flatware to add to the glam of the event! We had a blast working with all the amazing vendors detailed below. Browse our behind the scenes photos and some of our favorite food-centric styles!
