Why You Will LOVE a Winter Wedding: Deals & Availability

We are back at it, talking again about why we at The Catered Affair love a winter wedding, and one of the top reasons is…availability!

After the excitement of the holidays and New Year’s, the calendar goes quiet for a while. January, February, and March, aka the winter doldrums, are the perfect time to celebrate a fun, wintry bash of a wedding!

Timing is EVERYTHING

Think about it, you want your wedding to be the star of the season – and it can be hard to shine when you’re the seventh wedding of the summer for all your friends and family! During these off peak times of year, there are often lots of dates to choose from, and even a few long weekends to make traveling easier for your guests. Plus, they’ll thank you for not blocking out a potentially gorgeous beach day mid-July for your wedding!

Save the Date and the Dough

Another great reason is, DEALS…  it’s called off-peak for a reason! Venues and catering are often more flexible with their food and beverage minimums during this season, so for those smaller weddings who want a Saturday night; you can have your cake and eat it too! And lots of other vendors are willing to negotiate on pricing during shoulder months when key wedding business slumps. Don’t forget the added bonus of being in a smaller client pool with your vendors having more time to focus just on you!

Share the Love, and the Savings

Speaking of deals – our Winter Wedding Deal is still available for clients who book at the Harvard Art Museums in January, February or March of 2018.  Check out the details here and contact us today for more information.

Yes, we love Winter Weddings – but don’t just take our word for it!  Next time on The Dish we ask some of our favorite wedding vendors why they love Winter Weddings too! Follow The Catered Affair on Facebook and Instagram to keep up with us!
