Destination Wedding at the Harvard Art Museums

Cathy and Alex’s wedding reception at the Harvard Art Museums was full of everything we love about weddings: joy, beauty, and a fun reception. Choosing Cambridge Massachusetts as their destination wedding location, the couple invited friends and family from the Philippines to share in their stateside nuptials at the elegant Harvard Art Museums.

After a few stylish portraits in the Naumburg room and the galleries, the couple dined and danced the night away in the Calderwood Courtyard. The courtyard’s dramatic, new glass rooftop enables controlled natural light to illuminate the upper levels of the facility and filter into the courtyard below. During the reception guests were treated to interior views throughout the museums to the galleries, the Art Study Center, and the Straus Center for Conservation and Technical Studies.

Their decor was punctuated by fresh fall florals and accents of maple and oak leaves that truly warmed the room. Guests enjoyed a seated dinner complete with hearty Port Braised Beef Short Ribs and a fun pie bar! Enjoy some of our favorite shots of the night from David Tucker Photography below.
