Adolphus Busch Hall

Built in the spirit of a grand medieval hall, with its dramatic architectural features, adorning statuary, and world-renowned Flentrop organ, Adolphus Busch Hall offers an enchanting setting for your corporate party, wedding day, or special event. The hall, opened in 1921 and originally designed to house Harvard’s Germanic Museum (now the Busch-Reisinger Museum), will treat your guests to a stunning collection of plaster casts of medieval and Renaissance sculptures and architectural stonework. For up to 80 guests, the Hall is as unique as it is enchanting. Guests can explore the murals and statuary throughout the room while they dine on a custom menu reminiscent of medieval times or play with a juxtaposing theme of modernity and renaissance.

Adjoining the inner Adolphus Busch Hall, the lush and blossoming courtyard is a beautiful oasis filled with charm and serenity. With a gentle fountain, open greenery, and intricate statues and art surrounding it, it’s the perfect place for a garden-party style reception with a raw bar station or an elegant space for cocktails and networking. Available seasonally, guests can look forward to enjoy this outdoor addition or separately as a warm weather respite and twist on traditional reception or outdoor wedding ceremony.
