The Boston Public Library was Alice’s Wonderland. A poor forecast didn’t come to pass; antique umbrellas became part of the décor. A lovely ceremony in the courtyard and an intimate, family-style dinner in the grand reading room. Later came dancing, pizza and flip-flops for all. Did that statue have a smile on his face before?
