Caroline is our Operations Administration Manager. Caroline enjoys gardening, trying new restaurants and having her chef-husband cook her dinner!

Joe has been TCA’s Warehouse Manager since 1998. His favorite food and drink pairing is pizza and a cold Bud Light. And his favorite times are spent with family in the great outdoors.

Shane, our Executive Chef, personifies our commitment to world-class cuisine. From his native Kilkenny, Shane made his way around the world, working at no fewer than four Michelin Star restaurants. From the U.K. to Australia to Thailand, he learned to fuse the flavors of East and West, landing most recently—to the delight of our staff and clients alike—in Boston. World-class indeed!

Pierre, our Boston Public Library General Manager, is a lucky man because his work and his favorite leisure time closely coincide. He enjoys nothing more than sharing good food and wine with friends.

Eliza, our Boston Public Library Event Producer, says her epiphany about the real quality of the TCA brand was when she saw the servers at the Nordstrom’s opening sitting for hair and makeup.

Elaine, our Director of Business Development, remembers a small, elegant wedding TCA did in a beautiful public venue. “I knew then I was part of something special.”

Maureen, our controller, is no fan of cold and snow. She is, however, an avid football fan and a devoted chocolate aficionado.

Holly, founder and President of TCA, remembers the company’s humble beginnings. “In the beginning, behind the scenes, every event was like something out of the Keystone Cops!”

Alec, Senior Sales Manager, when he isn’t fussing over clients, enjoys cooking, the outdoors and vintage campers. His most memorable TCA moment was meeting Julia Child at a private event in Cambridge.

Erin, Boston Public Library Event Producer, says the best things in life consist of a good book, a great glass of wine and…Cheez-Its.

Melissa, TCA Staffing Manager, runs a tight ship. Yet in other respects couldn’t be more laid back. She describes her favorite food and drink pairing as: “Anything that can be delivered in a take-out box.”

Kate, our Sales Manager, will never forget a seaside wedding we did. Particularly, the part when the hurricane blew in. “The cocktail tent was lost at sea but the staff kept their composure.”

Beverly, Design Assistant, will never forget working with waitstaff at a Kennedy Library event, when she shared an elevator ride with Jackie Onassis, Ted Kennedy, Caroline Kennedy and John Kennedy Jr.

Andrew, our Vice President began with us at age 12 as Holly’s “wedding cake frosting maker.” Today, his duties have expanded considerably.

Alex, our Vice President of Operations, is a huge fan of Boston sports teams and loves to share that passion with his kids. Having been around amazing cuisine his entire life, his secret guilty pleasure is a bit surprising: The Original $0.99 Burger King Chicken Sandwich!

Ed, our Event Designer, is a perfectionist. Here, he describes his favorite dinner: “A grilled porterhouse steak on a bed of arugula with lemon dressing, shaved parmesan and truffle oil, with a glass of Caymus Cabernet.”

Alexandra, our Sales and Marketing Assistant, loves to celebrate life and her career – whether it be in the form of a high five from the general manager or with her drink of choice, Champagne!

James Hansen, our Boston Public Library Event Producer, doesn’t consider his occupation a job. When he is not producing events, writing menus, or endlessly chatting with mothers-of-the-bride, he enjoys setting a beautiful table for dinners with friends and bringing that “TCA experience” home.

Karen Byrne, our Boston Public Library Event Producer, loves spending time in the sunshine of The Boston Public Library’s courtyard – especially with a cup of tea and a scone from the Map Room Café!

Sean Swenson, our Executive Sous Chef, likes playing with his food. And our clients love it. Sean rewards himself with his favorite food and wine pairing: Rack of lamb and a nice Cabernet.

Hayley, our sales assistant, says her most memorable moment at The Catered Affair was watching a bride and groom run through a line of sparklers followed by a private firework display. It was the most beautiful wedding she had ever seen!

Franco, our Chef de Cuisine at The Boston Public Library, developed an appreciation for inspired cuisine at a young age. Raised in England with Italian heritage, Franco’s cultural exploration deepened his passion for fresh and local ingredients. His role as Sous Chef and Chef de Cuisine at a number of Boston’s finest restaurants is evident from his concept development to his final presentation.
